Argument Essay - Lending money to friends...?

It is sometimes said that borrowing money from a friend can harm or damage the friendship. Do you agree? Why or why not? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your answer.

 

Nowadays when people need Money, try to avoid ask for money in the bank for all the stages and formats that are necessaries to apply. In fact, some people instead to attend to the bank, ask for money to their friends; however this custom carries some problems. I strongly believe that borrowing money from a friend can damage the friendship; and I think that based on the fact that it can affect my personal finances, and it can hurt the trust between the friends.  
First and foremost, think that your finances are very important and from this depend many things. As an illustration, I remember a friend that lend something like USD$ 2.000, and a few days later he need to do a travel but he couldn’t because he had lend his savings. For this reason if you lend money consider that as a gift.
Secondly, whether if you consider that trust in a friendship is important avoid lend money. For instance, when you lend your money the friendship become in a costumer and client relation. And begins attitudes as your friend never is at home or never answer your calls.  Thus, if you want to conserve a good friendship based on trust avoid lend your money.
Finally, as a conclusion, and having into account that borrowing money from a friend is a consequence of hundreds of problems, and if you don’t want loss a friend and have a healthy finances, think better whether lend or no your money. Remember that you don’t have the obligation to lend your money, you are not a bank.

Argument 1 - You are talking about your finances... but maybe the essay task was more related to affecting a friendship. So, probably, even though your point may be true, it is not necessarily answering to the task question. And remember that the most important criterion that's being taken into account is called TASK ACHIEVEMENT.

Two recommendations: 1) The topic sentence (argument) should be more connected to the THESIS. 2) In the explanation you can develop what we talked in class.
