Writing: A letter of advice

Imagine you are an advice columnist at a magazine. Choose one of the letters below and make a list of suggestions. Then write a reply.

Example:

I argue with my girlfriend all the time. I try to do nice things for her, but we always end up in a fight. I can't put up with this much longer- what can I do?

-Frustrated

My best friend seems anxious a lot. She bites her fingernails and looks tired all the time. I don't think she's eating right, either. How can I convince her to take better care of herself?

-Worried

 My dear Worried.....

My advice for you:  talk with your friend and advice her to go out with her friends and that expend time doing funny activities, and try to go with her to taking classes about wathever she like, maybe about cooking, may be if she know to cook new recipes, she can eat better and more healthy....also you can take yoga classes, this can help her with her anxiety.

Dear Frustrated:

My advice: Be patiente. Don't forget the girls are temperamental and need be loved, not understood. Maybe you could go out with your friends, and make her feel more free. Don't try to get explanations, it may be worst!

Why don't you join to any club and try new activities. What about looking for clases? But the most important it's: let her to have her own time. Have you thought about this problems in another couples?

These are so often problems: to argue, fight, be frustrated, and so on...

It might be a good idea to be more helpful and supportive.

Sincerelly,

Dr Hearth
