Writing: Describing a process

Write about one of these topics: A theater performance or the making of a newspaper. Then describe the different steps in the process.

Example:

Planning a musical is complicated. Before anything else happens, a story must be written. Once the story is written, the rest of the preparations take place. First, music and lyrics need to be composed to accompany the story. Then, a producer must be found. After that, ...

To make a chemical reaction is easy but you need to follow a careful process, first of all to avoid any risk (like an explosion or to spill something) protection equipment is needed. After start a procedure has to be consulted. Once all the reactives required are available in the lab the glassware is prepared and conditioned. The reaction can take time and any change has to be recorded as soon as possible (color change, temperature increase, etc.) Then the products are collected and the calculations are made. Finally the product has to be completely characterized.
