Writing: A recipe

Read this recipe for a popular Hawaiian dish.Notice how the information is divided into a list of ingredients and how to make the dish. Then think of a dish you know how to make and write a recipe.

Example:

Lomi Lomi Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup shredded salmon, uncooked
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 3/4 cup  vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, salt ans pepper, to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. cover and refrigerate over night. Eat with rice as a light meal or on crackers as  an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 points of  salmon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (or 2 T water with 2 T fresh lemon juice)

 

 

Preparation

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cut salmon into 4 equal portions. Lightly butter a baking dish. Place salmon in the dish. Heat butter in skillet and add mushrooms and green onions. Saute over medium heat until mushrooms are tender. Stir in flour, parsley and salt. Add milk and bring to a boil. Cook and stir until thick, then add wine or water and lemon juice. Boil one minute, then pour sauce over salmon. Bake at 350? for 20 to 25 minutes

 

 

                                                                       CEVICHE

INGREDIENTS:

2 pounds of shrimp

1 onion

6 lemmons

2 tomatoes

10 coriander

salt/pepper

ketchup

PREPARATION:

FIRST WASH AND PEEL THE SHRIMP LATER BOIL IN A POT THE SHIMP'S SHELL WHIT A LITTLE WATER FOR 10 MINUTES AFTER THAT TAKRE OUT THE SHELLS AND USING THAT WATER BOIL THE SHIMP FOR AROUND 2 MINUTES, REMOVE THE POT FROM THE FIRE AND EMPTY THE STRIMP WHIT THE BROT IN ANOTHER POT.

MINCE THE ONION AND WASH IT WHIT COLD WATHER AND SQUEEZE THE LEMMON ON THE ONION SHREED TOMATOES, THE CORIANDER AND RED PEPPER.

FINALLY MIX EVERYTHING AND ENJOY

 

 GEORGE`S CEVICHE

1. Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 2 pounds
  • Onion - 1
  • Lemmon - 6
  • Tomatomes - 2
  • Coriander - 10 branches
  • Ketchup
  • Salt pepper
  • Chilly 

2. Procedure

  •  First wash and peel the shrimp, boil the shrimp`s shell in a pot  with little water for ten minutes. Then take out the shells and using that water boil the shrimp for arround two minutes. Next remove the pot from the fire and empty the shrimp with the broth in an other bowl.
  • Then mince the onion and wash it with cold water and squeeze the six lemmon`s on the onion 
  • After that mince the tomatoes, coriander and red pepper
  • Finally mix everythin and ENJOY!!

 

                                                                 CHOLAO

1 passion fruit                     1 orange                      ice cream           syrup

1 apple                                 1 strawberry                 cream

1 lulus                                   1 lemon                      milk cream

1mandarin                           ice                                sweet

 

First cut the fruits in slices

later mix the fruit in the glass

next shed the cream syrup and sweet

after that put the ice cream in the glass and on the ice cream

finally put on the cherry and milk condensed

AJIACO

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Liter water
  • 3 Breast
  • 500gr Potato criolla
  • 1Kg Potato
  • 3 Garlic
  • 2 Spoonfuls salt
  • 2 Branch coriander
  • 1 Branch guasca
  • 6 Cobs
  • 2 Onions

First, peel and chop the potatoes, clean the guascas and the cobs.The breast you put cook.

Then put the pot in the stove, add the potatoes, the onions, the garlic, the cobs, the salt, the coriander and cut up the breast.

Next, 2 hours later add the breast and guascas.

After that, stir every 10 minutes for not stick pot.

Finally, serve the Ajiaco and accompany with rice and piece of avocado.

 

 

Colombia's Aborrajados

ingrdients:

- 4 ripe bananas

- 500 grs. or fresh mozzarella cheese

- 4 tablespoons flour

- 1 egg

- 1 / 4 cup milk

- salt

First fry in hot oil bananas parties and remove.

Then on a piece of banana put a slice of cheese, cover with another piece of banana and set aside.

Next mix flour, egg, milk and salt until a homogeneous preparation.

After that put bananas with cheese mixture and fry in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes.

Finally brown and remove.

The Manjar blnaco is a typical sweet of Valle del Cauca consumed daily, dessert, (with fig and cheese curds) but again, at Christmas time because they buy ready or prepared to give it away to friends.

 
Ingredients:

15 bottles of milk
5 pounds of sugar syrup
½ cup rice soaked from the night before and finely ground
1 cup raisins (optional)
10 Quick puffs (optional)
1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Pinch of salt

Preparation:
First :Dilute the rice in a little milk
Then : add to the other milk.
Next : Add the syrup and pour into a copper kettle.
Ofter that: Start wood fire to cook and stir with wooden spoon until nonstop by passing the bottom of the pan is clean. (Several hours)
Add raisins, figs, coconut as desired. 

 Finally :Pour totumo preferably mates or other container.
